Each year, Odysseus commemorates its anniversary by organizing an event at an orphanage in Vadodara and making donations to help local communities.
This year, Odysseus Solutions celebrated its 14th anniversary on July 15th with simultaneous events at its offices in Vadodara as well as the newly opened offices in Bengaluru, both situated in India.
We invited children that are being supported by a Not-For-Profit called Ashadeep Foundation that provides underprivileged youth with educational resources including paying for tuition, supplies, books, etc. to enjoy a day with our team at our offices in Vadodara. The day included music, dance, a magic show, and a tattoo painting artist for the children followed by a meal and cake cutting ceremony in addition to school supplies that we donated to the foundation.
In Bengaluru, our team visited Ashaniketan, a home for the mentally disabled which cares for the disabled by conducting workshops to employ residents and locals in the area “Work includes candle making, weaving, tie & dye, batik, embroidered card making, papier-mâché, paper craft, bamboo craft and maintaining our campus garden. – http://larchefmrindia.org/communities/asha-niketan-bangalore/” Odysseus staff spent the day with the residents of the home and we made some cash donations to help the cause.
Both events were extremely satisfying for the team as well as the residents and children who enjoyed a very memorable day and we were grateful for the success to be able to give back to the communities where our teams live and work.
